Large, global Professional Services firm looking to expand service offerings provided to current clients and to diversify their solution portfolio to attract, and acquire, new clients.
Create and grow a technology consulting practice serving targeted industries consistent with the global parent (including Telecom, Retail, Business Services, Manufacturing, Financial Services) and bring to market a collection of services consistent with the firms existing offerings and growth strategy.
Established the initial service offerings; developed client relationships consisting of current firm clients as well as new logos; partnered with other firm service lines to win new business and expand the services provided; created strategic partnerships to grow market presence and secure new logs; built the team with a mix of experienced, and university, hires; and established a delivery model that produced high quality client delivery and long-term, multi-engagement client relationships.
Within 3 months, secured the initial $1 million dollar client and grew the initial project into a 3-year relationship with well over $5 million in bookings. Initiated a relationship with a top tier telco provider to lead them into the convergence of telephone and cable. This relationship resulted in 12 engagements and seven million of bookings. The relationship also was leveraged into establishing a telecom technology practice that was utilized by many other North American divisions within the firm. In less than 6 years, the practice went from start-up to $70m in bookings and a dedicated staff of over 100 consultants.
